Our home/school agreement supports the education of students by strengthening the partnership between home and school. It sets out what we can expect from each other, and what we each aim to do.

At school we aim to……
• Inspire each student to achieve more
• Provide a safe, caring and happy school

• Offer high quality learning in and out of the classroom
• Respond to individual needs of students
• Prepare students for a successful future in family life, further eduction, work and community

• Maintain effective communication with home

As Parents we aim to……
• Ensure regular attendance, unless my child is ill, and avoid unnecessary absence;
• Ensure my child arrives on time for school;
• Inform the school promptly of the reason for absence, lateness or any other circumstances that may affect my child in school;
• Provide my child with the correct uniform and equipment needed for school;
• Monitor that homework is being completed to a good standard and sign my child’s planner each week ;
• Uphold school rules and support the school in the reasonable discipline of my child in accordance with the school’s Behaviour Policy
• Maintain positive communication with the school in support of my child’s progress;
• Attend Student Review Days to discuss the progress of my child.

As a student I aim to……
• Focus on work and achieving my best;
• Bring a positive attitude to learning and aim to make progress in each subject every day;
• Treat everyone with respect and follow the school’s Code of Conduct;
• Arrive at school on time;
• Attend all lessons on time;
• Bring the correct equipment and books to lessons;
• Be smartly dressed in the correct school uniform;
• Complete all class and homework to the best of my ability;
• Take pride in myself, my work and my achievements;
• Respect and look after the school environment;
• Be a good ambassador for the school.
